Video Portrait workshop (inglês)

Portraying someone is a way to get to know the other person. But the portrait also says something about the one who made it. What do we select as the most important? How do we form it visually? Participants work in groups of three persons. Each person makes a portrait of one of the others in the group, who in turn portraits another person.

The workshop will end with a grand finale in which films are shown to the participants and invited audience at a large projection screen.

Marit Lindberg born 1961, Stockholm, Sweden. Works mainly with video, video-installations and performance, often in public spaces. Lindberg´s works often involve the intimate conversation in the public sphere, discloses the hidden and elusive in dreams and memory. The works take shape in videos, video installations and performance art, sometimes shown in the public space.
